anyone heard of this chick? i am absolutely astonished by her talent....amazing songwriter and vocalist, the band suits her perfectly....kind of a simple country/western roots beatnick thing...beautiful music. there is a whole concert that is down loadable through NPR...hands down my new favorite artist for the next few months.

If you like her then check her out in The New Pornographers. Twin Cinema is a good album by them, and they just put out a new one. They're kind of an indie super group with her and the guy from Destroyer and A.C. Newman.

I've never been that big of a fan of hers in particular, but I like the New Pornographers. But she's hot though! Do a Google Image search on her...there's even one shot of her in a see-thru blouse. mmmmmm :)

Yep, been listening to her for awhile. As well as the The New Pornographers. Very good stuff.

And ya she is hot in that odd sort of nice girl way.
