My buddy has Logic and wants to send me his project so i can help mix it. He uses Logic 8 and im using Sonar 5. How would i get the project from his computer onto mine? Really all i need is the individual Waves but he tried to send me and they are AIF. files... not waves. How would one do this?

found this...it's got some kinda "free trial" ya can download...i'm sure there's full freeware out there somewhere

Actually Sonar 5 can import .aif and .aiff files from the files, import, audio command. So you won't need to convert them or anything.

They will line up just like a wav file would, infact they are simply Apple's version of a wave file.
