I persoanlly think De La hoya is going to win it by TKO.

May 03, 2007 05:55 pm I heard 50 Cent put $1,000,000 on Mayweather, that makes me root for De La Hoya just on priciple...
Not sure if I am watching it, I am more of a mixed martial arts fan for the better rounded fights rather than just hitting each other in the head, but the good fights are still good fights. :-)

May 03, 2007 07:28 pm Yeah, apparently 50 Cent and Mayweather are like... best friends... Yeah i watch some mixed martial arts from time to time. I'm more a boxing fan though.
May 03, 2007 08:32 pm Oh, now I really wanna see him get his *** kicked :-)
I like the more reality based fighting, boxing is fun, and a skill most definitely (hand strikes are not my personal forte', I admire people who can) but a street type situation would never go off like a boxing match...
Personally, I am more of a grappler (as noted by my current avatar :-) )...I got long limbs, works well for grappling.

May 03, 2007 08:41 pm Ticket sales have already generated more than $19 million!
That's at a venue that holds 16,500!
May 08, 2007 10:12 am As it turns out, it's being reported many of the tickets had to be given away and no book anywhere in Vegas took a 1 million dollar bet, 50 Cent apparently lied.
I was also told the fight was so boring the first few minutes the crowd started chanting "UFC, UFC, UFC".
Wasn't this the fight that was supposed to bring boxing back into the limelight that MMA has taken from it?
