Ok, so I guess it's high time that I ask the nice folks that frequent HRC to give me some feedback on some stuff I've been doing (or done to be more literal). I've got a website for my "label" up, and would appreciate any constructive feedback (although I already know it needs a bit more content, and more updates...). If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
www.bossmonk.com
Additionally, I have an album (double EP), Monkey Vs. Robot, Man Vs. Machine, that is available for purchase (professionally manufactured and everything!) on the website (or itunes if you search for bace135...). I wholeheartedly appreciate any purchases, but if you're just interested in giving it a thorough listening to, you can check this link:
www.soundclick.com/bands/...m?bandID=451434
Any feedback on the music here is also appreciated. Just a quick note, the first half of the album is IDMish instrumentals, and the second half of the album is hip hop (though I don't think it really sounds like your standard hip hop - think intelligent lyrics over interestingly layered beats, and catchy sing songy hooks).
So, yeah, let me know what you all think, and thanks in advance for checking it out!

Nov 28, 2006 10:32 pm coolo, had a quick look at the site. Only thing i can see from the start is the font should be a bit bigger. Maybe cause I'm old and my eyes are getting wimpy, dunno just a thought.
I'll be grabbin a CD or 2 for the boyz and myself for XMass maybe. I think I've checked out most of the stuff on soundclick but will go double check. And I'll have a closer look at the website later, been a busy week and isn't going to slow down any I'm afraid.

By the by, this is a different soundclick page and should be all new music (except for one song - which is on my othere soundclick page). I haven't shared any of this music here before.

Nov 30, 2006 10:33 pm Well then, I'll have to toddle on over there this weekend and have me a listen. Tuna is gonna be getting some P5 lessons on Sunday so we'll listen then. I'm curious to see just how much I can get him to do now as he is getting more into wanting to learn its deeper aspects.

Besides, its what reminds me constantly that coco is Scottish. Although ya really don't see to many who type with their dialectic broag like our coco does.
