Thrift Store Score!

It doesn't happen often but I just scored about 40 record albums for $1.00 each that were very nearly mint condition at a local thrift store. Some cool stuff too. Three Pink Floyd albums, four Zepplin, some AC/DC, Sabbath, Kiss, Aerosmith and a few 80's hairband metal stuff. Most of the time those thrift stores are cherry-picked by the employees so I was pretty surprised at this find. Anyhow, just thought I'd share.

Well, I am guessing you got lucky and none of the employee's are into vinyl there. That is a killer price if its in good shape as well.

So coming from a confirmed vinyl freak I must say congrats and cheers on the great find.

congratz... besides getting a 90 toyota tercel for $400 (Volunteers of America) the best I did was finding what I think is a copy of "Complete Works of Shakespear" (Salvation Army) ... first US printing... for $3... it was being used by the staff as a coaster for a bottle of windex... hard to tell what edition it is as theres no date on it... but it's alteast 1800's ...but it was funny... I saw it while in the checkout line and as soon as it hit my hands everyone else in line knew it was a good find... :)

They had a few good looking pieces in the musical instruments section. I'll have to take another look later. Nice find there.

I am gonna be selling a POD xt Pro and a Bass POD xt Pro shortly if anyone is interested...reasonable offers considered here first, prolly go onto eBay in the next week or two if I don't get reasonable offers.

Won't be thrift store prices tho...

huh...really good prices... especially on horribly mislabled items...4 octive xylophone by ***... but it (Bells) is worth at least 3x as much as they're going for.

LOve thrift stores sometimes. I got the 'Harvard Five Foot Bookshelf' series of classics (and I mean classics) for $2.00. A complete series of 'required reading' from 1919. Veddy cool.
Plus a "run-up iron" golf club for $1 that is the best club ever. It's ancient!

Never seem to find the 1965 Fender Jazz with the stacked knobs though.....
