May 04, 2006 06:07 am I enjoyed it. one thing to look at would be the level at which you set the vynil effect. It to me seems too much in your face. I think it would be worth setting it futher back in the mix

May 04, 2006 04:48 pm mac, did you use a vinyl pluggin on this? Sounds very interesting. You got a lot of bottom on the acoustic this time, very nice. Not too much top end, but enough to keep it good tone wise. I like the little plinky piano part as well, it adds a nice distraction to the melody. I like the vocal part, nice and simple and smooth.

May 06, 2006 11:12 am Thanks guys,
Noize, The vinyl sound is an onboard effect on the Korg D1200 that i tinkered with a bit. The bottom heavy acoustic is my classical which i don't use often for that reason. I thought it suited this song though. It's supposed to sound quite retro, not sure weather i got it or not. The song kinda drifts as a filler i think and will fit nicely in a collection of songs. Hopefully i'll get a bit more feedback on it before i decide weather to keep or not.....

May 06, 2006 03:20 pm Well, it does give it a bit of an older style recording sound. Not too over the top though, just about right if ya ask me.

May 06, 2006 11:11 pm I like it mac. Sounds like a good album closer, simple, melodic and effective. I think the vinyl effect is about right as well and serves it intended purpose.
