2 interceptions, in the 1stQ! They're lookin' great. One bad call gave the Panthers a TD, but we can absorb it. All the Hawks gotta do now is hold on and don't get greedy....

Jan 22, 2006 10:14 pm wOOt, as dB would say. I have picked the winners once again. And for the tie breaker I got the total score of both games with 7 points. No one is gonna break my winning streak.
OK, end of personal rant. I am sticken with the Steelers personally for the SB. But you are very right, this should be a great SB to watch this year.
Congrats to the Hawks.
Jan 22, 2006 11:41 pm its gonna be a great game. those hawks have some powers too. im betting on that steelers magic, though. i gots me an indomitable feeling about them.
congrts hawks. i hate the panthers uniforms.
now, you grunge slackers are goin' down feb 5!
Jan 23, 2006 07:28 am What bad call gave them a TD, I didn't see any bad calls...I did see some bad ball playin though...
Jan 23, 2006 08:27 am The "bad call" must be the flag that was picked up on Steve Smith's punt return for a touchdown. It could have gone either way. What was overlooked in the whole scene was the fact that it was a crappy, line-drive punt. The alleged block in the back wouldn't have mattered anyway.
Basically, Carolina sucked the big one yesterday.
I contunue to be impressed with the way the Steelers get a lead, and then run the heck out of the ball, challenging the opponent to step up their D or go home. Might be a fun SB to watch...I'm rooting for Seattle, but I believe that the Steelers running game will be too much for Holmgren's boys to handle.
Jan 23, 2006 09:11 am ah, yeah, that, personally, I thought that was a good call to pick up that flag...but then, I wasn't ON the field :-)
