Time to build a new PC i think. Can you guys give me some info on which motherboards cpu's etc you would choose to put together for quite a respectable spec music computer. I thought of sticking with P4 but which motherboards would you go with? This is for music only and not internet connection or games.
People in my local area seem to indicate an intel mother board?

Dec 31, 2005 08:39 pm Any motherboard spec sheet will tell you what CPU's they support. I am a big fan of Asus mobo's myself, the best thing you can do is get the most of the fastest you can afford...
Jan 01, 2006 04:07 am Asus IS good, I just replaced mine with an intel pentium D 2.8 GHz cpu (I think the D stands for Dual Processor), with asus pentium D compatible motherboard, and 2 Gig of Ram and it's running sweet.

Jan 01, 2006 05:08 pm I agree on the Asus MoBo as well. You might also want to take a look at MSI (Micro Star International). I have been using them as well with very good luck.
