2 Delta 66 cards and nuendo 3.1

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and new to pc recording. I did a search on using multiple delta 66 cards and found some really helpful info. I also checked the m-audio site. I think I have the hardware part right, I think the problem maybe with the Nuendo 3.1. I just got my 2nd delta 66 card installed. The m-audio software recognizes the card and I have it set to sync multiple cards. The probably I'm having is that when I go to Nuendo to record my drum tracks it only shows 4 inputs. Its like it doesn't see the 2nd card. Any input on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

I guess first thing I would check is if Nuendo even support's multiple card's. There are some app's that dont. YOumight also want to check and make sure Nuendo is fully updated as well as making sure you have the most current driver's installed for the Delta card's.

Other then that there should be some kind of set up in the option's menu that may help you find the other card's driver's.

I'm not real familier with Nuendo, I think there are a few user's here who might pop along and be of more help to ya.

Thanx for the quick response. I downloaded the newest drivers for the delta 66. I haven't been able to find info on whether or not Nuendo supports multiple cards. I saw a few posts that said that it did and others that said that it didn't.

Well, I guess trying the new driver's and making sure Nuendo is updated will be a step in the right direction.

The M-Audio driver will have to have something in it in order to make the two appear as one to ASIO, 'cause all programs that use ASIO for their input can only use one "device". If you use WDM, then you might see 2 separate devices, but Nuendo uses ASIO.
