Aug 31, 2005 06:30 am I had the reveal, was very happy. I'll be replacing them soon.
I had the passive, powered with a old home stereo.
I haven't tried the Behringers, so take that into consideration.
I figured, the active version is 850$ a pair, so the passive version should have the same good drivers / design, minus the powered part, which I provided, for 350$.
HTH.

Aug 31, 2005 06:42 am no prob, i've seen the reveals in a few decent studios around on the internet, maybe you could research on google for studios that have them in their equip list. course i've seen quite a few sets of berry's around on the inet too, so . . .

Aug 31, 2005 01:59 pm are those your only 2 options? if so I would go with the reveal actives. Behringer in my opinion makes good gear but when it comes down to it, its an economy line product.
I've been running Event 20/20p through an aleses RA-100 for years and perfectly happy with it. the 20/20's have been used on grammy winning recordings.
Aug 31, 2005 02:02 pm So Berry's are economy line then you say use use Alesis? I dunno about you but I consider Alesis as much or more of an "economy line"...
That said, I have the same amp as you and a Behringer mixing console and I love them both...but the pots on my Alesis are starting to get dirty and noisy...many, many years of wear and tear on that thing...
