I'm running Protools 6.9.2 and I'm relativelly new to it. Is there any way I can put a CD onto protools and record, say a vocal track over the cd and then bounce it so that it makes a whole new song? If anyone knows how to do this and has the time to tell me how that would be greatly apreciated. Thanks!

yeah, but first you have to "rip" the CD audio down to a wave file...which can be done in most decent audio editing programs.
