CD's on Protools?

I'm running Protools 6.9.2 and I'm relativelly new to it. Is there any way I can put a CD onto protools and record, say a vocal track over the cd and then bounce it so that it makes a whole new song? If anyone knows how to do this and has the time to tell me how that would be greatly apreciated. Thanks!

Aug 10, 2005 08:51 pm would a converter work? like a .mp3 to a .wav converter do the trick? and after its "ripped" what do i do?
