Hey Guys
I'm gonna do a cover of the old "Fall Guy" intro song ("The Unknown Stuntman") ala Coco Style...all rocked out.
Guitar Jim said he'd be in - anyone else fancy getting involved???
We can rock it right up, make it different, share vocals etc, just rock it on.
Let me know ASAP and we'll get it on...
Cheers guys
Coco.

Jul 09, 2005 11:25 pm I'm in for drums and/or percussion! (I love that show)
Jul 10, 2005 03:20 am I'm game, coco...just put me in wherever you need a hole plugged. :)
Jul 10, 2005 07:20 am Nice one guys...
OK, so we have N And Munger on drums.
We have Thermo on something (whadya play/do Thermo - let me know and we can take that from there).
I'll obviously deal with some geetar.
Guitar Jim, you up for some geetar tae?? Daft question I guess...
Vocals we can sort when the tracking is done I guess...
Id like something off the wall in this, maybe some cool samples of something..dunno - just something cool.
Jump in guys and lemme know yer thoughts
Cheers
Coco.
Jul 10, 2005 01:14 pm Hey, you know me too well...I'd be more than honored to jump in with a little twangin' guitar and some vox or whatever!
Great idea!
Jim
Jul 11, 2005 06:00 am Excellent...then let the fun commence.
Jim also on geetars and vox...
We'll get this one started ASAP!
Cheers
Coco.
Jul 11, 2005 04:10 pm I can do a little bit of everything...if you need additional guitar, some spacey analog synths, a touch of badly played bass, or some weird crackling noises, I can handle it.
I also can play harmonica and cowbell. :)
Jul 11, 2005 04:19 pm I might have time to put some bass on it, though I don't know the tune...I can wing it, it's what I usually do...
Jul 11, 2005 07:18 pm Cool..dB, I have the tune I got from the actual show intro - if ye can find that thread I posed a shorted while ago with all the TV shows on it, ye can hear it from that.
It also has the opening sequence of the show...cool!!!!
IF ye canny find it, I'll mock it up quickly and pass ye chords/lyrics if yer up for it.
Thermo - thats cool...we'll see how it pans and ye'll be sure to be doing something...very cool indeed.
This should be a blast.
Coco.
Jul 14, 2005 06:18 pm Cool! I've been tweaking my drum sounds in the studio (for another project), so I'm all set up and ready to go! Send me a MIDI or .WAV file as a guide track and I'll lay down a groove!!!
Jul 14, 2005 07:48 pm Hey Guys
OK, so far I have pinned a drums (temporary obviously), rhtyhm gtr and a cheeky wee lead gtr bit and thats it.
Mostly just scratch track material but it'll give us a start.
I'll get it uploaded tomorrow. Its in "C" and at 140BPM...OK!
So, parts to ye all tomorrow...this will be cool.

Jul 14, 2005 10:02 pm I want in, I can try my hand at vox or play synth or hell even just mix it, I just need a new project.
Jul 15, 2005 07:12 am Hey Loki ma bro...the more, the merrier...
Jump right on in my friend.
I have deduced so far we have:
Drums - n.andrew munger
Bass - Mr dB Masters
Guitars - Guitar Jim, Thermo and Me
Harmonica - Mr Thermocaster (that OK bud)
Synths - Loki
Anything else ??
Vocals: All who want in - Me, Jim, Lok?, Thermo? for starters.
OK for ye all??? IF not, shout. I wont hear ye being 3000 miles away in Scotland but it'll make ya feel better :-) !! Nah seriously, just say if ye are havin a bother with the part and we can easily swap aboot etc.
dB - you OK time wise for bass?
OK< I will put the drums, rhythm guitar part and a lead (for scratch purposes) up later (all one file) for a starting point.
Munger, I'll also put this up MINUS the drums.
The way we will play this is, ye all having the starting point when Mr Munger does the drums. Then, we can all post up our parts ready for DL. Dont worry - decent MP3 would do for most of it if you dont have big space/upload/download issues.
THEN, anyone who wants to grab parts can and we can get more mixes than just mine?? Fair enough ma merry band of dudes? Good stuff.
LET THE GAMES....commence!
Coco.
Jul 15, 2005 07:14 am Yeah, I should be OK on time, if not, I'll say so, but I need some music time, so I'll try to MAKE the time.

Jul 15, 2005 07:51 am Now, did you REALLY think that layout would work? Gotta upload a .txt file or something...
Jul 15, 2005 03:16 pm Err, I knew that wouldnt work :-p - actually, I think your darn forum sucks you lazy PHP programmer you - get a tab/chord recogniser built - ye CLEARLY have nowt to do! hehehehehehe...JOKE dude - JOKE!
Nah, its just so ye know the form and chords, etc. Not meant to be perfect...as I say, the original wasnt perfect i.e. the one I nabbed fi the web but its a starting point for sure.
OK, parts will be with ya soon dudes. If anyone wants the intro scene to hear it, lemme know. Its in Real Player format tho...which sucks.
Cheers

Actually, I may have a solution for that...of course, the obvious solution is everybody by that cool program "Lyricist" that is in the right column ads now and then and we could easily share song charts...
Jul 15, 2005 06:01 pm Hey dude,
I don't know the song... but it sounds cool..
if you need me for vox or backing vox or whatever... just say so
oh btw... might I just mention.. when using mp3's for collabing... they add milliseconds of silince to the beginning of the track... you might end up with sync issues... .wma doesn't have this problem...
Jul 16, 2005 03:22 am Hey dB
Cool...I wis kidding man, but if ye have a solution to the prob - that WOULD be cool. Aye, the prog looks handy but I dont use enough song charts to make use of it - Im sure otehrs do tho so it would be a good for them for sure.
Presley, how ye doing man - hope yer well n'all. Jump on in if yer up for it. We could always use a good singer in there...when I have the parts up and some vox (since ye dont know the song), just feel free to do whatever ye want...it's all good for the mix. Sweet.
Cheers...
Coco.
Jul 19, 2005 12:41 am Cool! I'm getting to work on laying down the foundation. Get it back to you as quick as I can!
By the way, I like the groove you programmed for the guide track!
Jul 19, 2005 07:22 am Cheers bud...aye - Im sure your beats will be cool. Bring it on my man...
Coco.
Jul 20, 2005 08:18 pm OK gang, here's da riddum!
.wav version (big 40Meg. file!)
www.rhythm-art.com/stuntdrums.wav
mp3 version (3.7M)
www.rhythm-art.com/stuntdrums.mp3
and, if you want to hear how it fits, here's a rough mix w/ Coco's guitar lead
www.rhythm-art.com/stuntdrandgtr.mp3
there's 2 measures of woodblock to give a tempo. My idea was for everyone to copy that click to the head of your track, so our mixer has something to line up all the parts, just incase there is any added info like Presley mentioned.
Have fun all!
-Andrew
Jul 21, 2005 04:55 pm Hey Bud
The mp3 with the guitars on it works fine but I cant get the WAV or the MP3 of the drums alone to download...is there a prob with the site or the file???
The beat sounds good tho from what I heard...nice work my friend.
Cheers...
Coco.
