I don't know if anyone else is into meditation or the like but I've found some cool software that produces sounds to work off the brainwaves and induce various types of mediation. It's called Brain Wave Generator... I found it on google.
Also, anyone know how to go about doing that kind of thing? I want to put some Theta Brainwve inducing sounds into my music.

Jul 01, 2005 03:40 pm yeah i've read about that stuff, i've noticed if i try sleeping with my computer on(ie: lettin' a dvd play out) i can't fall asleep nearly as easy because of the high pitched whine of my harddrive...and if i do fall asleep, i end up waking up in the middle of the night and shutting it down.

Jul 01, 2005 04:20 pm yeah whines are never good. I tried the Brainwave Generator last night, utalizing the alpha wave setting, and it was pretty cool... I laid down with the headphones on and just sort of relaxed. Don't remember falling asleep but my phone rang, and I got up to answer it and talked for a bit and then laid down and fell back asleep. Only this morning did I realize that the earphone which I had laid down wearing were not only off when I wot on my table which is about 5 feet from the bed... and I have no recollition of taking them off or putting them there. Now that's relaxed!
