Hi folks-
Newbie here. I was recently given a Roland VS-880 as a hand-me-down, along with an external CD burner. I'm learning how to use the thing. Made a multitrack recording, and am trying to burn to CD. I was able to successfully burn a backup of the tracks to CD, so I know the CD burner and the VS-880 are communicating.
When I try to do a "Cd Write", as opposed to a "CD backup," It goes through the motions of asking me formatting questions. After I tell it I want to burn the track and finalize the CD, I hit Yes, and get the error "No Data To Write."
I assume I'm doing something wrong that is elementary, but the manual is not providing much assistance. All I'm trying to do is take my 4 tracks of audio and transfer them to the CD.
I realize the VS-880 is VERY old, but it's all I have right now. Upgrading is not going to happen anytime soon, as I'm very broke. The only reason I have even THIS recorder is because it was free.
The previous owner has been unable to help me, as it has been too long since he used it to remember how it is done.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the bandwidth,
