Anybody have any ideas on how to make some blank plates to clean up the look of my empy rack space? I have a real problem paying $60 dollars for already made ones so I wanna try and make something for myself.

Apr 19, 2005 09:35 pm If you have access to a milling machine it's easy, I have made lots of them over time...19" x 1.75" with holes 1.25" apart on either side in, I believe .375" from the edge, but it's best to mill out a little slot so it fits any rack.

But as dB said, easy to make for sure. Spary em flat black and your in.

Apr 20, 2005 09:58 pm You scared me there for a minute. I thought someone was gonna charge you that much for one panel.
Good you have somebody to do that. Its so much cheaper, and then you get exactly what you want.

Apr 21, 2005 09:16 pm I actually was going to try cutting a piece of lexan or plexiglass to the right size and drill all the holes ahead of time. Then paint it flat black of maybe even airbrush a cool design on the backside of it. That would shine real nice in the rack. Plus if I get more gear in the future I can just cut it back to fit.
