Hey all, long time no bs. I have been on the road for a fue months. I havent picked up a guitar for at least 2 weeks. Im super busy, work- and get this...... Im gonna be a daddy- the stork is coming in June. But what I did do is a full remaster of a tune. Its called Walkin In Late September. Tryin to sound as pro as possible. Lemme know what you think!
The folks that have been around a few years are probally sick of me throwing this up with little changes each year... but its better than 25 more bad acoutic tonyd tunes!
as a bonus, i included lyrics........

Walkin in late Sept-
The name in the trees is so hard to say-
The quiet in the lake wont ever go away
Come on and tell me of the autumn in the air
walk tired in the fields without a care, alright

I looked at the candle as its burning down
and those ideas of fire came close around
come on and tell me of the fiery leaves
and stroll to the names that you cant believe

in the loss of what you remember
walkin im walkin in late september
in the visions that stand in the storm
thinkin about all that we mourn, alright

the name in the rose is so hard to feel
and the quiet in the thorn becomes so
god damn real
come on come on give it all to me
walk tired in the fire for all to see

im still watchin the candle with all my desire
im still waitin for the flames to go higher
come on come on tell me of what you think you know
let the fire take you and let you go

in the loss of what you remember
walkin im walkin in late september
in the visions that stand in the storm
thinkin about all that we ever mourned
i dont wanna go
i dont wanna go she said
i dont wannna go she said
theres a storm in my heart and its tearin me apart
i dont wanna go she said

Congrats on the news...good stuff indeed. Aye - kids keep ye young..then age ye prematurely as they get older for sure!!!! But, its all good!

Good to hear ye aroond man...Ive no seen ye since ye read ma post...top quality laugh that wis!!

OK, to the music. The sound is good - I like the song too. Rockin, nice steady beat and I like the melody of the lead geetar.

The rhythm geetar is kinda fuzzy but I think thats the effect yer using aye?? Very well written tune tho and I do love that lead ye have goin on there...vocal sounds good too. Nice song, just bangs along nicely...cool when it breaks down too with just vocals and the bass.

Good stuff man..thumbs up fi me.

Take it easy bud.

Hey Tony! Congrats mate!!!

I agree the Guitar is a little fuzzy but i think with a cheeky bit of twaeking the sound could work really well!

I like that sound of the other 'floating' guitar that runs through most of the song.

The vocals could come forward maybe? not so much louder as more 'present'. Not really sure how to explain it :)

Definately a really nice smooth rock feel.

Sounds pretty professional to me! I can only agree with what the others have said...especially that the vocals need to be a little bit more up font for my tastes.

The distorted guitar doesn't bother me...adds to the vibe...

Great job Tony.

Hey Tony, I missed this one for a couple days. I gotta say this a bit on the trippy side for you. I like it. Man those guitars is dirty indeed, kinda kool if ya ask me, just need to get fitted a bit into the mix and viola it'll be good. I like the trippy lead guitar as well. And the vocals fit in as well. Reminds me of some of those party jams we played in the early seventie's. We would just jam and make up lyrics as we went along. All the partied up people would realy start diggin it.

But I stick with my first impression Trippy.

good to hear tony , I'll be a father in august ,so I'm in the same boat. I'd keep the guitars the way they are i think it adds to the piece.

Hey Tony, Congrats!

The song is pretty sweet. Vocals, like others have said, need to be up a bit. The distortion guitar is also a little fuzzy. Some people might be bothered by it, but I think it makes a neat effect.

All-in-all, it's a pretty professional song.

This definitely sounds great Tony. Actually I love the fuzzy rhythm guitar! If anything I'd make the solo guitar a bit drier. A drier snare wouldn't hurt either.

This is a great song man. It really reminds me of '80s rock and roll (not that synth pop either hehe). It's like the Smithereens or something along those lines. Definitely a winner.
