burning cd with wavelab - noise problems

Hi, I've just joined this, my first forum, and wondered if anyone can help me with a problem using WAVELAB v.4.

NOISEY CD

I have editted together my CD ready for burning, tested it, all fine - but when i burn the CD the result is VERY noisey, has anyone had a similar problem and knows how to correct this?
It could be my disc drive, not sure? I've tried audio discs and data discs with similar results in both.
