Computers are fairly new to me so I need your advice very badly.

Basically, I have a Boss BR-532 4 track digital which I record onto. Now what I want to do is transfer the music to my PC. I have taken a line out from the 4 track to the line input of the PC. When I playback I get music alright, but what do I do next to store the music on the damned thing so I can then burn it onto cd??

Please help me out?? I am so new to this carry on!

you need some kinda sound recording software on your computer to capture your audio....windows comes with one (i think it's just called sound recorder) or there's a few programs you can get off the net ( i can't remember any of the names though) but i'm sure someone else here knows where to point you.....also be sure you go to your control panel > volume control > options > recording > and make sure there is a check on the 'line in'

good luck and welcome to HRC!

Cheers WYD. I have checked th econtrol panel for that and I have it alright, sound recorder that is. What do you mean though, "a check on line in". I have found a volume control for that all right and put it up from its lowest position which it was in.

should be a check mark indicating that your recording source is the line input of your soundcard.
