Is there any way to change my S/PDIF ins/outs, to 1/4 inch ins/outs or at least something that I will actually use?

can't right now, don't have a great example right off the top of my head, but essentially any preamp or processoring device that can take analog inputs and has an optional digital output.

There are a few that have ADAT outs, can't find any with S/PDIF outs, but I know they are out there.

ah, like this, typical preamp with a S/PDIF out...

service.bfast.com/bfast/c...mp;bfmtype=gear

and it's stereo, so two mono's, uses your whole S/PDIF wonderfully...

Thanks for trying dB.

So how much do you think I should be spending on one of these contraptions?

And is the S/PDIF signal balanced?

Thats perfect dB, pitty i cant purchase through MF though.

So are the outs on the preamp only digital, or does it have ballanced outs to?

And what kind of ins does it have?

Sorry to ask the questions, but i cant download the manual......
