Dec 30, 2004 02:19 pm eh, that doesn't appear to be a "preamp" in the truest sense of the word...but you can give it a try...I wouldn't expect real great results tho.
Dec 30, 2004 02:59 pm can u give me any reccomondations that are any good under a hundred bucks ?
Dec 30, 2004 03:14 pm Yo if you wanna get a good sound outta the 0404 get a good mixer or buy a direct injection box and put it straight into your card at the moment i DI my guitars into the mixer then into the computer
Dec 30, 2004 03:17 pm I agree with Stephen, a mixer is prolly the best route for the moment and possible future options.
service.bfast.com/bfast/c...mp;bfmtype=gear has Behringers newest IMP preamps, which aren't bad. Obviously not the best in the world considering the price, but not bad.

Dec 30, 2004 10:38 pm if you are planning to do some direct recording, you'd better have a DI box to match impedance of the signal. some guys here have a lot of experience with those, from a simple passive DI box to the modern PODs and V-Amps.
Dec 30, 2004 10:39 pm can u suggest a cheap one that will do the job?
Dec 31, 2004 10:05 am so i just buy one of those and
