SCSI (pronounced "skuzzy") is a PC interface that hard drives and CD-Roms and such hook up with. Fats data transfer. S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface) is a digital connection for things like DAT recording and Minidisks.

FYI, it was me that moved this topic to the more appropriate forum...sorry for any confusion.

Thanks, glad you like the site, I work hard on it and so do the mods that volunteer here. As far as the topic moving, you posted as I was adding the new forums, so you may very well have put it under Gear Gab, but it didn't get there. Regardless of how, it somehow ended up in the main home recording forum, and I moved it to "Gear Gab". Could have just been caught in limbo while I was alunching and bug fixing the new forums this morning :-) The launch was about an hour project...more than a bargained for.

And yes, we all know less everytime we learn something new, not how it should be is it?

Stop on back and ask anything you need, if we don't know the answer we'll make something up :-)
