anyone know free plugsin for CEP 2.0?

CEP takes DirectX plugs doesn't it?

search our links directory for freeware there is a lot of it on the 'net

SHOOT Cant remember...I've been on Audition so long.....I know THAt takes directX but not sure about the ole CEP...DAMN

nothing wrong with using old software if it does the job for ya, but if it supports DirectX or VST plugs there is a lot of freebies out there...

A quick Google-wackin told me it does use DirectX but not VST.

Nothing wrong with using old anything and CEP is solid...like dB said..."if it does the job for ya"

but personally thats about all the advice I would take from dB ;)

VST isnt that like virtual instruments or whatever?

but on the direct plugins, should i search google for free plug ins? Cuz on the sites above I didnt see plug ins for CEP

They ALL are, but only some are free.

www.directxfiles.com are ALL DirectX standard plugin, they will work in CEP.

VST is just a third party coding standard. VST is for effect plugins VSTi are virtual instrument, DirectX is effect plugins, DXi are virtual instruments in the DirectX standard.

Also, look for the free VST wrapper. You can use one VST at a time with it. There's some really good VST's at digitalfishphones.com. Also, CamelPhatfree and Big Tick Hexaline are free VST's worth looking into.
Izotope has a great free plugin called Vinyl that turns your track into a scratchy record player sound. Look for PSP Pianoverb. Analog X has a vocal remover and a decent noise gate. These are all DirectX.
