Okay, so I've had magneto for a while, but to be honest, I got it at a point where I didn't have a grasp of mixing/mastering at all, and I overused it... so of course it sounded awful. Out of frustration, I stopped using it. That was probably a year and a half ago.

Now I feel like I have more of a grasp of what I'm doing, and I don't feel like I'm just blindly adding effects and hoping for the best. I feel like Magneto could be a valuable tool.

I could (and to some extent will) probably get the info I need by just experimenting and playing around, but I thought it would be helpful to get some advice from some of you guys.

Where in your process do you use something like Magneto.

My general process usually follows this...

Mixing - Mastering with Ozone - Harbal - Maximizing

What stage would I insert something like Magneto into/before/around/inside/etc/etc/etc?

I master with Magneto, LI sometimes and whatever else is needed, then HarBalize.
