HI everyone,
I'm trying to determine the effective latency of my soundcard in SONAR 3.11. I run the wave profiler after selecting the drivers I want, and then close and open SONAR. However, the effective latency (and the slider) are always where I previously left them. ie. if the slider was on 20ms before wave profiler and closing, then that's where it is on reopening. If I move it to 100ms, that's where it is after opening SONAR again (after running waver profiler). THe only time it appeared to give a proper latency assessment was when the program was first installed. Am I doing something wrong here?

I dont think the wave profiler does it for you.
I think its user defined!
Plenty of poeple here who know about this one though.

Nov 14, 2004 10:29 pm Yep, Wave Profiler should change it every time. And it should actually change every time you make a change to the driver choice. I know it does on my boxes, and I am sure of that as I just finished testing differant drivers versions of a new audio interface and watched the latency moniter change without running wave profiler every time. Just run it once and it checks the setting for all the drivers installed for that card.
