Ok my turn to ask the "best microphone" question. Actually it's more in the vein of "has anybody played with this one yet?" Proported as excellent drum kit overheads a pair of these for US 169.00 sound like a good way to free up my Oktava 012's for micing the strings of a piano. So I guess that's the comparison if any has had the oportunity to play with the 993 vs the 012.

Thanks flame! Buy the way, I owe you an appology. The guys in the band all babbled about doing your brass piece and then when it came down to it all had other things to do. They are really begining to irritate me. Everybody wants money or no play. You know gotta get the "bigger better more" like on TV!
