Sep 16, 2004 07:43 pm I like dance music. I like a wide variety of music to be honest. Anyway, I like the flavor in this. I sort of get tired of hearing DJ's take music from the 80's and do a horrible job at a dance remix with them. But you are orginal with your own flavor. I like it, I really do. The mix and mastering is sweet, nothing negetive to say at all about it.

Sep 16, 2004 10:39 pm Hey deeps, good to see ya. Had a quick listen, liken it alot indeed. Nice use of some low fi stuff in there. Like the beats for sure, very danceable. Nice choice on some of the synth sounds as well. Also nice touch with the vocoder. I'll give it moe listening time this weekend and give ya a shout.

Sep 17, 2004 02:36 am Hey guys,
Thanks alot for the comments - you guys are the pros at the mastering so glad to read that my "still-learning" mastering is suffice! he he he
Vdale: I am really against sampling and taking other ppls work - If your a producer, use original stuff and compose original work - yes there are arguements "for" ripping samples and making a song sound hot but for the most part, I guess its a personal opinion...
Noize: I came backkk - I actually built a new PC - Your advice rocked and do did DB - It was the CPU that was gone bad. Went back to Intel :)

Sep 17, 2004 06:00 am Sweet, glad the PC is fixed. Believe me, I'm not no pro when it comes to mastering (getting someone to do mine whenever we get our EP done mixing), I just know the sound of a good one! Keep up the good work!

Sep 18, 2004 11:18 pm Glad things are working out deeps. Good to hear the new PC is running good as well. And after listening again to the track at a bit more volume, I like it. There are enough changes to keep it from getting repetative boring. Good solid beat going and again like I said, youre choice of synth sounds was great, it doesnt take away from the vocal parts at all but keeps things interesting.

Sep 19, 2004 12:28 pm Noize: Thanks for taking the time to check it out! Yeah, had to really get the new PC running - took at least 3-4 solid days of re-installing all of the software - but the cool thing is at least I installed only what I needed - One cannot imagine how much junk you can have accumulated over the years lol

Sep 19, 2004 12:30 pm TonyD: whats up - thanks for the comments....Its actually spoken in Panjabi (the chorus at least). A language in India. If anyone needs translation the song goes a little something like this:
"when I looked into your eyes, my eyes told me that I should keep you" - Guy saying that to a girl.
