Hi
I was wondering if anyone can recomend a good reverb unit, i have a quadraverb purchased about ten years ago and wonder if technology has moved on? Are any of the plug in reverb units good enough or is it best to use an out board unit for putting reverb on accoustic guitars and vocals? I would do with a unit that would double for use on live accoustic guitar, or have i got it with the quadraverb? Must admit some of the lexicons look quite nice, but so does the price! Any ideas anyone?
Thanks

Nov 03, 2002 09:18 pm I will say to add the software reverb's to your arsenal before going out and looking at new hardware. I have had my Quadreverb 2 since it was new, and I will not part with it. Alesis, built some very good gear with some kick butt algorythm's that are hard to beat. If you have the manual for the Quad. go in and learn how to tweak some of the parameter's and adjust a reverb preset to fit your need's. Yes, I will admit technology has advance a bit since the first Quad's, but not that much. I still prever the sound of some of the older reverb unit's over alot of the new stuff I try now and agian. I have an really old Korg digital reverb that was one of the first generation's of digital verb's, and the sound's that thing make's are very distinct, and cannot be duplicated by anything new I know of.
