Hello, welcome to HRC.

form the fact the mixer has 2 outs (the "02" at the end of the name) I am guessing you are recording in a one-man band type of situation, is that correct? I would suggest you look into a mixer that has 4 out buses first, 2 main outs and 2 sub outs. These busses make it much easier to route and isolate the tracks going in the mixer for recording from the tracks coming out for playback.

After that, if you are a one-man band type of situation, which is what I am, I just switched to an ESI Juli@ which I reviewed at www.homerecordingconnecti...tory&id=443 and it is an awesome card for around $180. It has stereo ins and outs in analog and digital plus MIDI I/O and an optical out. Both optical and digital outs can handle 5.1 surround should you ever go that route. VERY low latency and great sound.

If you want to keep each drum mic on a seperate track, then you will need a bigger mixer than that, one with more busses or direct outs on a few channels, plus a card with more inputs such as the Delta 44 (if 4 ins is enough for the way you mic drums) or something of that nature.
