Hello people.
I am having problems with my soundcard, as listed in my topic title.
I have a static sound consistantly coming through. The sound isn't clear, it's very...staticy :/
Anyway, when I first installed the sound card it worked fine. Lately I formatted my C:, and re-installed it. Now, I have static feeding through.
I am going through a mixer, so I tried going directly into the soundcard, the exact same problem.
any suggestions?

Aug 18, 2004 06:26 pm I just tried installing it from there...
Apperantly Windows XP is having a problem. The XP driver is NOT compatible with XP...?! Every time I try installing a different driver (98, 2000, NT, etc) it gives me the same error for everyone.
dB, would you be able to see the name of the driver you have on your PC? Let me know the name....? Thanks
Aug 18, 2004 06:35 pm I don't use the Audiophile as of a few days ago. But I successfully used the Audiophile for many months on XP, so do many others here, so it does work, you may be having an odd resource conflict or something of that nature...
