Trouble with Delta1010

Here is some information:
chipset: MSI 845 Ultra / intel 845 chipset
cpu type: p4
cpu speed: 1,8Ghz
ram: 1024
gfx card: Matrox g500
os: windows xp (SP1)
Our problems started about two weeks ago (repeated week after windows reinstallation).
The Problem:When recording sound with Cubase SX, Wavelab etc. the sound distorts. When closing the computer a blue screen appears and the mahcine gives an error message: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, and wont go off without restarting. After re-installing XP (still using the same drivers with Delta) everything worked fine for a week but then the problem came again.

Oct 14, 2002 05:59 pm Ooooo, I think I would contact M Audio about that, it may be a hardware problem. Let me ask you this though, are you running any Anti-Virus apps or anything on that line on your PC when it powers down? There could be some conflist going on, I have seen apps like that make trouble on shutdown before.
