Okay, here's a little demo track I did to see what the new album I'm doin might sound like... it's critiquin time! :)

It's only 30 seconds or so, I just wanted to see if what was in my head sounded alright recorded. (yes, crappy midi drums/bass and a shoddy direct tone from the geetar, but hey)
It's lacking vocals etc and is just a kinda 'test' but hey - whatchall think?

I like the 'lil circus riff y'a threw in there,(I'm into that) though I agree with you on the drums' sound ... but that's fixable . Overall, very creative, can't wait to hear the finished product !

Btw... 'Circus Riff'? Not sure which bit ya mean... Recon you could give me a time-mark for the circus riff?
In the finished version it will have lots of vocals and crazy stuff, should sound quite demented... :)

This one is playing more with polymetrics and shows of the lowness of the 7-string a bit (goes down to G or so), a kinda prog-metal feel. Same crappy drums and recording, no vox etc etc etc... it's longer too... again - feedback appreciated! :D

Well, maybe not "circus", but calliape-(sp)sounding riff in the background... (guitar) seems to be re-occouring throughout .

Apr 28, 2004 08:03 pm i heard this track when i checked out your page earlier. i like it a lot. it would sound a lot cooler with real instruments, but pulling this off would be difficult for most people. good luck, good job!

Apr 29, 2004 02:55 am Yeah, I'd like to play it all live, I could quite easily manage guitar/bass whatever... It's just finding a drummer with the patience to learn it all.. :/
And hehehe.. it was ACTUALLY Raven Shield El Musico! tsk tsk tsk... :P
Well when the whole thing is completely done in 8 months or whatever I'll make sure to post some mp3s. I've had a few bad reviews from people on these little test mp3s along the lines of "what the cráp was that?"... good to get some positive responses. :D
