Please take this with a grain of salt. This is based on my last two visits and it may not pertain to equipment advertised on the web. Last December I visited and there was a ton of equipment that nobody could tell me the disposition of. Last Saturday I dropped by and picked up a fog machine that was marked as missing fog juice only. It was obviously never checked out as the thermal fuse was blown and the temp sensor was laying loose inside the case. As it turned out my son in law had a thermal breaker out of a furnace system that worked for the thermal fuse and the temp sensor was easly relocated and fastened down. Just something to think about. Maybe call in orders for scratch and dent and ask a few questions.

It's a good rule of thumb to never buy demo gear, used gear or display unit type gear without thorough inspection.

Didn't you get your MX9000 from scratch and dent? I thought I remembered you saying that.

No, the MX was new. I think the thread you are remembering was around December when the scratch and dent center did have a number of 9000's on the floor. I didn't buy one, but I did think it over pretty good. I saw one that looked prestine for around $400.00. Good chance a little fixin and I could have had a pretty cheep mixer.
