I want to multitrack acapella vocals. What software do you suggest? I'm working off a Mac Powerbook w/Neumann TLM-103 thru an ART Studio V3 preamp. I hear the Mbox/Pro Tools LE bundle is good (which has a built in preamp), but I read somewhere it doesn't play+record at same time - which is critical for monitoring while adding harmonies.
Any ideas?

Apr 18, 2004 07:22 pm Yeah, basically you just need a soundcard and some software. I'm with Loki on the sound card choice, and as far as multitracking software, I'm not too familiar with what's available for MAC, but maybe Sonar or Cubase are other options.

Apr 21, 2004 09:14 pm On the Mac he cant use Sonar or Cubase. That is a limiting factor for Mac is the limited software available. And most of it is spendy.
