Yeah, unzip the drivers and reboot the system, when the system reboots it will ask you to browse to the drivers, so browse to wherever you unzipped them...WIndows will take care of everything else.

OK, so you need to go to the control panel and find the audio card manualy and then install the drivers manually as well. The drivers should have com with their own install program. I have never had a bit of troubel getting them to go in after doing the uninstall.

In my control panel it doesn't even show that I have the Delta.... What's going on?

Actually, no, I am very right, that is exactly how it's done. If that is not working then there is something wrong with your card, your motherboard or your Windows install. Take your card out and put it back in, make sure it's seated properly. How did you uninstall the previous version? Did you use the control panel or what?

Yep, agree with dB there. If you cant even see the Delta then remove it, and reseat it. Then if windows doesnt see it imediately you can try to install new hardware from the control panel, then tell it you have the drivers and direct it to were you have them unzipped.

It seems odd that it didnt find rieght off the bat. Are you running XP or what?

And usually after running the Delta uninstall it should ask to reboot and then on reboot find the new hardware and then search for the drivers, or let you point to the directory they are in.

that may happen loki, but as db said, windows knows that you have your card connected and as soon as it is rebooted and there is no driver for it windows will try to install it. I may want to have a closer look at your control panel device manager and try to find remains of the driver previous versions, inside the submenu sound controlers or smth like that.

Also, run thru the hardware installer via the Windows Control Panel and see if that finds it...

ALright I took the card out and put it back in, and when I restarted the machine it said it found new dual channel IDE hardware (or something like that) and I installed it fine and stuff, then I did a restart again and went to my computer, then clicked on Delta Tray. The Icon went to the system tray with the other little icons and I was like "yay" but when I clicked on it a little alert box came up and said "could not start Delta Tray"

did you try another PCI slot yet for the card. Dont know if that will help or not, but its worth a shot at this point.

I don't know, turned off the puter, took everything out of it then put it all back in and it worked, and aside from that my second monitor is up and running now too
