Sep 10, 2002 03:35 pm Does your Korg have some sort of analog outs? I am not really a synth guy, so this should be left for Noize, but I will take a shot in the dark and assume you want to record the audio coming from your Korg (as opposed to MIDI data, if the Korg does that).
You don't specify your sound card, so I will assume you have the typical two in and two out config. Then you take the main outs of your Korg and plug it into your mixer. Take the main outs of your mixer and run those into the sound card and enable the ins of the sound card in Cubase.
Assuming the Korg has a couple 1/4" outs, left and right, plug those into channel 5 and 6, or channel 7 and 8 of your 802a.
Sep 10, 2002 03:45 pm i have a sound blaster audigy
Sep 10, 2002 03:48 pm I thought I remembered you saying that before...if you fill out your gear profile in your personal profile then we can see stuff like that.
Anyway, the Audigy is a two in two out deal so what I said above should apply unless you are trying to record MIDI data or something like that. If you are trying to record audio, then read what I said above and try that.
Sep 10, 2002 03:56 pm ok where do i connect the main out from the mixer on the sb because the only 1/4 i have are the headphones and the mic one
Sep 10, 2002 04:48 pm the only 1/4 plugs i have on the sb is the head phone and mic
Sep 10, 2002 04:57 pm I think we discussed this in the last thread of yours, you need to get those adapter cables that go from 1/4" monos to 1/8" stereo's. If you are going to be using an SB or similar gaming card, you are going to need 2 or 3 of those adapter cables at some point I am sure. Then the cable will have to go from the main outs of the 802a (the two mono 1/4" end) and the 1/8" stereo end will have to go into the line in jack on your SB.

Sep 10, 2002 11:21 pm Yes, the Korg does have anolog out's, infact I believe it has 2 stereo pair's. If I am not mistaken, doesn't it also have SPDIF out and in? If it does, use that to go in and out of your Triton. If not, then you will have to go the route dB has suggested.
