Hello,

I need to buy some new software (running under MacOS9) and wondered if anyone could recommend the best software for the following purposes.

1) Pitch adjustment - I have samples of some string and brass instruments but some of them aren't in the right key so I need to change them.

2) Tempo adjustment (time stretch) - need to speed up some sound files and loops. Also shorten and stretch some of the string samples.

I know you can do it in cubase, but I thought there might be a program to do it making it easier.

I downloaded the recycle demo and it works well for for some samples. But I couldn't work out how to do it for more legato type samples. It doesn;t seem to pick up each note. I have a copy of Timebandit but its old and thought there might be a newer program the processes the audio better.
