Hi!
I'm having trouble with the new cooledit pro 2.0 demo.I have the recent Windows XP and it make conflicts with the setup program from cooledit(it simply does not install the demo).
- stop at 95% at file "*.imp"
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
Another question is about some bass recording.
Mic or DI-box?
Many thanks.

Jul 20, 2002 02:28 pm As far as Cool Edit goes, you should talk to Syntrillium about that, maybe they have an XP incompitibility issue they are working on.
In regards to Bass, I sometimes use both and record it on two tracks and blend the two. If I go with only one source, it's usually with the DI. I find many times bass is better captured without the amp coloration...

Jul 22, 2002 03:23 pm My suggestion is that you reboot, close all open programs including those in your system tray, and then re-run the installation program. If that doesn't work then I'd call Syllintrium (sp?).
