Digital Desk Options

Hi

We're looking to upgrade from an 01v with Octapre to something better. 2 x 01Vs cascaded might be a short term solution. What are the best digital options for under 5000$ with at least 24 mic inputs?

Like the look of the Yamaha LS9. How's the Tascam DM4800?

Cheers

I use the LS9 where I work at. It's a good little board. The only complaint that I have with it is the size of the screen. It's a little to small for me.

Agreed on the screen... But wow - If you've ever hooked up with the iPad, it's a real game-changer with that board (along with the M7).

Not sure how much that new Presonus board is, but had a chance to mess with it for a while also. That's a lot of HP in that thing. Plus FW recording outputs... Nice piece.

Thanks will check it all out

Heard anything about good or bad about the Tascam? Or the new Behringer digital?
