We're looking to upgrade from an 01v with Octapre to something better. 2 x 01Vs cascaded might be a short term solution. What are the best digital options for under 5000$ with at least 24 mic inputs?
Like the look of the Yamaha LS9. How's the Tascam DM4800?

Aug 31, 2011 11:28 am Agreed on the screen... But wow - If you've ever hooked up with the iPad, it's a real game-changer with that board (along with the M7).
Not sure how much that new Presonus board is, but had a chance to mess with it for a while also. That's a lot of HP in that thing. Plus FW recording outputs... Nice piece.
