Lundahl Transformer

I want to change the transformer in my T bone RB 100 ribbon for a Lundahl 2912 transformer, but the only UK supplier of Lundhal transformers I can find won't sell me one because I'm a private individual not a business. I don't see why my money is any different from a business's money but does anyone know of a UK retail supplier of Lundhal tranformers, or am I going to be forced to buy from the USA again?

Mar 26, 2011 07:55 am OK thanks for the link to K&K, that's useful, but I'm trying to source in the UK. It's seems crazy to me that the only UK distributor will only sell to a business. I talked to them again and they said for me to find a local business to order it for me. Getting a bit frustrated I said what business, the friut and veg store or the local butcher? I was excpecting my sarcasm to be met with a frosty response, but to my astonishment it wasn't, they just repeated that they only sell to a registered business. So I'm off to find ....."a business"...that's prepared to order this thing for me.
Mar 26, 2011 02:17 pm I see your frustration. I just did a long Google search and was meet with no results. You would think for a European company, they would be easier to find.
