can't install FA-66 firewire sound card on dell studio 1557

Help! I have a Dell Studio 1557 and am trying to connect to it my new FA 66 Edirol firewire sound card, by Roland. But my Dell desn't "see" the sound card when I try to install the card, which therefore fails to install. What can I do?

Dec 28, 2010 07:12 am What OS are you using? Are you sure you are using the proper driver for your OS and bit depth (meaning 32 or 64 bit OS)?
Dec 28, 2010 11:59 am Did you install the software BEFORE plugging it in? If not, delete it in the device manager and reboot. Install the software and then plug it in. Always install the software first.
