I am thinking about picking this unit up, due to the pure awesomeness! I currently have the Line 6 UX2, and its pretty sweet, but I was wondering in order to record to my DAW(Sonar Homestudio XL) can I go direct from the XT Live, and skip my UX2, or go from XT Live-to-UX2

Jul 12, 2010 09:38 am Do you need it for live performance, or is it strictly for studio use? I ask because if you are wanting to use it for studio use, perhaps you should first look at additional model packs and such to add to your UX first, save some money that way.

Jul 12, 2010 12:58 pm what kind of software does it come with? I am looking at buying a used one off of ebay, but I think software comes with it. If its the POD software, I have that since I bought my UX2

Jul 12, 2010 02:22 pm You really need to make sure that it is not locked as well. You will need to transfer it into your name. Not sure of the process but you have to register it with the Line 6 site through Line 6 Monkey

Jul 12, 2010 05:43 pm Hit up the forums on the Line6 site. They can be really helpful. I've never done it myself.
