Mar 15, 2010 07:51 am change your latency, see help for details. latency is under "devices" in cubase, go for a smaller number for recording and a bigger for playback.
cubase 4 le popping on playback..

I use cubase 4 Le with a tascam 144 mkII run on my Dell XPS laptop with vista. It records great but on playback I get intermittent cracking/popping and cutout for a full second or two. This will happen even on a single track with very little plugins bein used. All other programs are closed and the computer is in great running condition. I wouldnt mind the pops so much because there not in the actual recording but adding additional tracks listening to playback is impossible.
