Im trying to set this up to where I can record. I hooked dual RCA to dual RCA from the mixer Outs to the Audiophile Ins. In my headphones I could hear music playing but it wasn't very loud. When I tried to record in Cool Edit Pro, it did not record my microphone, but anything i played from another audio device on my computer such as winamp.
How do I get this set up and ready for recording?

Apr 20, 2003 12:09 am a helpful person on this board let me know that i should use the 1/4" Main Outs instead of the RCA tape outs. i got 1/4" to RCA adapters for that, and it feels exquisite.

Apr 20, 2003 11:31 pm Tape outs are simple outputs that do not go through the the main amplification system of the board as do the main outs. Simply put the main outs are superior in audio quality. What ever adaptors or patch cords necessary to utilize the main outs of the mixer will obviously allow you to tap into the audio quality you are searching for.
