Need Help: Cubase Output Delay??

Hello again,
So I'm trying to help a friend out with his new Lexicon Alpha that comes with Cubase LE4 but it's hard because we can only do it over the phone. The problem is when he records something, what he hears coming through his earphones is delayed but what he records into the software is right with the metronome???
Is this some kind of latency problem?
What things can we try to fix it?

Jan 06, 2010 03:25 pm i'm pretty sure he is using an ASIO driver and also i'm pretty sure the Lexicon is the soundcard from what we talked about over the phone.
I'll double check though.
Any other suggestions?
