ok. so as an update to my previous post... ive decided to carpet the entire interior of my fireplace and placed a thick, heavy (....ugly) comforter over the stone wall.... i used liquid nails for the carpet and a staple gun for the blanket. i just tested it out by throwing 3 mics up and hitting record.. no compression, a little eq... and it sounds so massive. im gonna start recording stuff this week. ill keep you all posted. thanks for the help guys.

actually.. i play alot of instruments. and i have a lot at my home too. i just moved back in with my parents after a few years of try to make it on your own thing... didnt work. so im back home now and i collected all my things from various parts of the state and im just planning on cutting records out of my room. i have to figure out this whole computer thing.. but im sure it cant be that hard. if you want drums added to something send it my way. im very flexable...i play all styles. love all kinds of music. i also have over here.. a rhodes piano, drawbar organ, yamaha electric piano, arp axxe, like playing odd styles of keys as well. guitar is my main instrument, as well as my voice, id love to collaberate with anyone.. umm.. so how do we do this?

by joining HRCPro (see the link at the top of your page) you get an amount of space to upload tunes to, which is how im gonna do my stuff from now on...unless youve got a site of your own.

im doing rocky lofi melodic semi-electronic indie stuff...kinda hard to describe. generally i use drum loops with cymbal and snare hits added in and around the chorus to pad things out a bit and add a bit of interest to the drum part..but theres no substitute for real drums!

im gonna post some proper tunes in a bit...ill let you know whats what, and if you fancy doing drums from some stuff, then cool!

youll get a credit on the album at least and some freebies to give people!
