Jul 09, 2009 09:45 am Record without a backing track? Not sure what you mean but this sounds like your mic input changed. Check your input setup in Audition, it sounds like you may be recording to input 2 instead of input 1.

Sorry if I sound like a complete and utter noob but I've been using my usb mic to record vocals lately with adobe audition. Recently however it has stopped working. If I record without a backing track it does not record at all, and if I record with one, and have my headphones in, it records the backing track somehow. I think I changed some settings by accident. I'd rly appreciate it if anyone could tell me what I've done lol.

Jul 09, 2009 10:09 am Yeah I agree. It sounds like you've changed your input in Audition to record from Windows general audio or from the output of your sound card instead of the USB Mic.
