How is a Sennheiser A 1031 antenna should be facing? It's an omni antenna and I gess the flat surface would be facing the microphone but does it have a side?

Also I have to use an antenna divider all the transmitters are looped respectively A and B in cascade mode Where are the paddle should be connected to? any A & B bnc connectors? There's 4 "channels" 1 2 3 4 divided with A & B
I've attached a picture the purple tag cable are the loop cables from the transmitters

May 29, 2009 08:28 pm The thin side of the paddle faces the stage. And since it's omni, Then it does not matter what side.
For the splitter. It's a diversity splitter. One antenna goes to "A", and then the other goes to "B".
Then "1234" goes out to the receivers. "A" is the left antenna, and "B" is the right.
That way you can tell which one is dropping strength. And you can then go adjust it.
So, "1234" are the outputs. 1 goes to the top unit. And then it walks down from there.

May 29, 2009 08:41 pm There's no other BNC connectors on the unit!!!! You see that cable where it says 25 on the top pict I hooked it up to the antenna which doesn't make any sense I think.
Plus I'm not getting a red light on the antennas
Do you know what is the model number for that unit? There's nothing at the fron just Sennheiser I can see a SAS232 at the back but I get no results on google.

Where it says Sennheiser that should be facing at 180 from the mics?
May 29, 2009 08:59 pm Opps! My fault. I got it backwards.
The 1234 are the inputs. And the A & B's are the outputs.
So you can put 4 antenna's on the one unit.
Wow! not a bad unit. I was thinking about the way Shure sets up their stuff.
Sorry!
The green dot that you have on the back is the input.

May 29, 2009 09:15 pm So I guess I got it right?
Pretty lazy way to tell where the input is!!!
But there's no green sticker for the B antenna I would assume it's the one below the top one with the green spot
So are all the A and B across that unit in parallel? So basically in section 4 I could have 2 receivers and I could connect the antennas to any :green dot" bnc connector for exemple bank 1? for that setup they were pre wired to bank #4

May 29, 2009 09:24 pm So this units could do 3 receivers X4 times?
May 29, 2009 09:25 pm I'm looking it up on their web site right now. Just not having any luck finding the SAS232 right now.
Give me a couple of minutes. Let me see what I can find.
May 29, 2009 09:30 pm Weird one of my computer signed me with my old nickname here.
I know it's a good unit there's 4 receivers 3 lavs and 1 handhold mics 2 paddles antennas, 1 omni antenna to an Lectrosonic wireless IFB That probably cost them over $10 000 First time encountering an issue like that I am used to the Shure and Sony they just loop into a cascade mode and at the bottom you have your two ouputs for the antennas A&B I think I set those up a 100 times but got kind of blocked on that one. I gues I did it right but not sure
May 30, 2009 11:57 am Forgive me for not getting back to this. I had gotten a sudden headache, and could not look at the computer screen anymore.
I'm still having problems finding the PDF for the SAS232.
I'll keep looking.
