Today, all across the world is a march for awareness for what these people are calling the invisible children.

They came to the company that I work for, to have some gear donated for there event. The location that they chose was a fairly nice backdrop.

They are camping out in front of Independence Hall. Right next to the Liberty Bell.

I set them up with 8 of the Turbosound TXD 121's. And a little Mackie CFX 12. A QSC 3602, and a small Honda generator. (Which this little thing is so quite, you can't hear it running from 10' away.)

With 3 SM58's, I was getting around 98 dB from about 175' from the little make shift stage.

I don't know if anyone else here was involved with them, but it seemed like a worth wild event to be apart of.

I know a couple that I think are involved in this as well. Not a pretty thing to think about at all. I know countries like that are always at war. But using children against their will is simply disgusting. I started watching the little film, I'll have to finish later though.

Good of you to donate gear for a good cause.

I'd have to agree on that. Not many would do that without some kind of kick back.

Rick Bauder is something else.

He has done this type of work for as long as he has been in business. Which now, is over 27 years.

And as far as I know, there has been only 2 people fired in all of that time.

The one I knew. And if you this guys boss, or if any of where. This guy would have been fired in the first three weeks that he worked for us.

Rick took his bull crap as long as he could. Which was over 6 years.

All of us where begging him to fire this person. But, Rick kept him around. He was too worried about what this person would do for a living if he fired him.

And right now, Rick is stressing about trying to keep enough work for all of us that work for him. Even bring in guys to the shop, when there is nothing to do. Just so they get hours in.

There really is no better boss out there.

Very cool indeed to have a boss like that.
