These guys make guitars, as well as sell parts to make/repair/upgrade your own axe. I've never seen them before, and stumbled on their site.
Their stuff seems pretty impressive, yet incredibly inexpensive, so I was wondering if anyone has had any exposure to their products as to comment on the quality.

Feb 14, 2009 10:18 pm If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
If you read the info page it is a bit scary. It looks like a simple store front page hosted by maybe Yahoo or some other e-commerce helping hand. The delivery thing is what scared me right off. So I'm guessing you place an order, then they do and you get your good's sooner or later.
But it appears that everything there is generic made stuff such as the Licensed Floyd Rose style trem. It ain't a real Floyd that is for sure.
I guess I would say buyer be ware.
Maybe someone else has ordered from them. I am guessing maybe Beerhunter might know of them.
Feb 15, 2009 01:40 am I hang around some heavy guitar boards from all styles and genres and no one has ever brought them up. Be careful.

Feb 16, 2009 08:08 am Right on guys... I hear y'as.
I do believe I will end up giving them a whirl, sometime in the near future. I'll be sure to keep all here posted, because if these guys turn out to be the rea-deal, there is alot of money to be saved by using them... even if their turn around is not as fast as most suppliers out there.

Feb 16, 2009 05:30 pm I can't find the real Floyds on there anywhere. All I can see are the Licensed by Floyd Rose copies. I've never ever seen even the cheapest Floyd at that kind of price.
But agreed, if it holds out it could be a good source for the odd parts like knobs and such. I'm not sure after reading about the pickups and guitars that I would go that route there.

Feb 16, 2009 06:08 pm Those are not the typical Floyd... licensed or otherwise. They refer to them as Fastloader which would be the knockoff of a Floyd Speedloader. You need to use Floyd strings that have the ball ends on them...read: expensive although it is suppose to be easier to tune.
I have always gone here www.allparts.com/ or Warmoth for parts like that.
Not saying these guys are not any good. Just what I have done in the past. I won't be the first to order from them though - lol I wait for Hue's review haha

Feb 17, 2009 09:00 am Right on guys, I did misread that one. : / Thanks!
Just the same, I will place an order with them sometime before we start playing out. I may be somewhat less skeptical than you guys. I've never had a bad experience purchasing anything online before, but have heard enough horror stories not to be naive about it.
It seems their products are hit and miss, so I think it's more of a case of what you order, as to not be disappointed/screwed. Some of their products specs, the ones I didn't misread,(lol) place their stuff slightly above the quality of the big-guys. i.e... MIM tremolo-upgrades, and some of their pups. If it's just a matter of having the patients to wait for them to place your order with someone else who stocks it, it just may be worth the wait. I'll let y'all know, one way or the other. : )

Feb 17, 2009 05:52 pm Ya, I've just seen too many of the Licensed Floyds that look exactly like that one that were so bad it wasn't funny. Never stayed in tune no matter what they say it will do.
But ya, like I said. It looks like they might be OK for some of the stuff for sure.

i just ordered and got gf's "fastloader" as a drop in to my jackson dk2 (s-s-h)
it dropped right in, set inton. tuned up and so far - ok. replaced a jt580lp bridge (chrome). next session, will really punish it.
next session: punished it-dive bombs (strings lying on pups), climbs, fast vibratos. after each was still in tune. action seems a little stiff & fast. geometry? or could be the springs that came with it. or the way i put them in-3 springs, 1 each on outside "talon" and 1 in middle. orig. jackson setup was 3 springs attached to the 3 middle "talons", 2 fanning out to the outside trem block holes, 1 to the middle hole. maybe try orig. springs & setup next...
once i "fanned" the (new) springs middle to outside, action was more supple, like the original trem. learn something new every day...

Jun 15, 2009 01:57 pm I keep hearing good things about GuitarFetish.com. People seem to like a lot of their better pickups for cheap alternatives to stock pickups on fixer-upper guitars and stuff like that.

Jun 15, 2009 10:17 pm Ya, recently I've seen a couple really good reviews of them. I might have to retract anything I might have said that hinted they might be a bit on the fly by night side. And I gotta agree, if your looking for a decent pickup it seems that they are offering a pretty decent alternative to the Duncan, DiMarzio set ups. Granted they might not be that good but as an alternative to a stock pick up I am seeing a lot of good reviews of their stuff. I would bet they have someone reputable winding them for them.
