rockwool basstraps construction.

there's alot of talk about different shapes and different ways to make bass traps.

just want to dble check about the framework.

1. if im using 4 inch thick rockwool, is the framework basicly just to house the wool? Slats, straps?
do these frames have a solid back on them or is the wool just held in with fabric covering.

2. now, the shape, ive head of triangle and rectangle but what is the best ?

i know there was something on site here about this but i cant find it.
